Why hire a professional?
Its certainly easy to become frustrated when you hit a roadblock and just don't know how to finish your project, or you do finish and it doesn't turn out as expected. Many busy, working couples often make sporadic attempts at decorating, but are just too busy to ever finish the job. The house becomes liveable, but never quite has that feeling of a completed home. The challenge of creating an attractive, comfortable and functional living space can be much more time-consuming and stressful than expected.

Do I need an Interior decorator or a designer?
It depends on your project. If you're considering changing paint colours, flooring, furniture, appliances, art, etc.. you need a decorator. If you're doing structural work like building an addition or moving walls, you need a designer or an architect and then a decorator.

Will you go shopping with me, or for me?
Yes, by all means. I have many contacts and suppliers in a variety of goods and services. Many clients find this saves them time and money, buying only what you need for a great space.

Will you help me set up my space?
I find by helping move new or existing pieces ( as long as we can move it), that it is very rewarding to see the instant change. This often makes great "before and after" pictures!

How long will it take?
Most initial consultations take somewhere around 2 hours. Clients with several projects may need more time.

What is traditional style and modern style?
Traditional style is classic and ornate. It often includes large baseboards, moldings and over-sized furniture. Modern style encompasses clean lines, minimalism and a fresh, trendy or cutting edge feel.
